Can I download Office 365 for free? ›

You can use Microsoft Office apps for free. Microsoft 365 is a productivity suite that includes programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneDrive cloud storage. Because these tools are useful for work and school, you'll likely want access to them.

The campus maintains two central email services: Office 365: http://365.ucdavis.edu/ Davismail (Gmail): https://davismail.ucdavis.edu/ Although there are exceptions, which are outlined in the Exceptions section below, generally students are on DavisMail and faculty/staff are on Office 365.

Microsoft 365 for the web is a free version of Microsoft 365 that you can use in a web browser. All you need is to sign up for a Microsoft account with a new or existing email address. Use Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more for free on the web.

Can we get Microsoft 365 for a free lifetime? No. There is no lifetime license to Microsoft 365, as it requires a monthly or yearly subscription.

Upon separating or graduating UC Davis, undergraduates and graduate students will have their @ucdavis.edu email account transferred to a @formerstudents.ucdavis.edu account. Accounts will be active for 1-3 years, depending on the student's affiliation with the university (i.e. undergraduate or graduate).

How Hard is it to Get Into UC Davis? Getting into UC Davis is moderately competitive. While it's not extremely difficult, you'll still need a strong application with good grades, test scores, and other achievements to increase your chances of being admitted.

Sign into Office 365 at mail.uc.edu with your UC username and password. Navigate to the app launcher (waffle menu) on the top, left-hand side of the screen.

Can my boss see my emails in Outlook? ›

Employers cannot legally access an employee's private email account without permission, but it's possible that personal email could become accessible to employers if information is stored on a device owned by the employer.

Log on to OWA

Open a web browser and go to https://outlook.office365.com Enter your email address, then password and sign in.

Students can use Adobe Acrobat and other Adobe software for free in IET Computer Rooms, either in person or virtual; Some other computer rooms also have Adobe products available to use. Students can also purchase a discounted Adobe subscription through the UC Davis OnTheHub web site.
