This working document presents information being developed in the ongoing field investigations at the Stringfellow Site. It also presents results of initial technology screening that apply to final cleanup, and it describes the process being used to develop remedial alternative solutions for cleanup of the former hazardous waste disposal site, located in Riverside County. The Department is planning to hold two public workshops, one in Riverside County and one in Orange County. The Riverside County workshop will be held on August 21, 1985 at 7:30 p.m. at Jurupa Junior High School.

In 1983 the choir released its first album, "Listen," which was later nominated for a Grammy Award. The L.A. Jazz Choir has won top honors in the Great American Choral Festival competition and can be seen in its own hour-long special produced by KCET-TV and distributed over the PBS network.
In addition the group entertains at many conventions, special events such as the Emmy Awards banquet and the ABC's "Joy to the World" show from 1978 through 1982, and Arco's "Concert in the Sky" at the Bonaventure Hotel. They also were heard in a television special at the Hollywood Paladi-um's "Shower of Stars." Preceding the program there will be the traditional community sing directed by Curtiss Allen with Kim Hoeptner as accompanist. Lola Montes and Her Spanish Dancers, long favorites at the Redlands Bowl, will be returning at 8:15 p.m. Friday, "Our Hispanic Heritage." Montes was featured at the Redlands Community Music Assn. annual dinner earlier this year, when she spoke on the same subject and joined some of her cast in dancing.
