Are you a fan of Red Lobster?
If you are and live in New Jersey, good news. Most of the joints are staying open.
Earlier this year, the company announced it would close some of its joints.
The restaurant filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, citing its endless shrimp campaign as a money loser.
According to a report by USA Today, the franchise closed about 15 percent of its 641 Red Lobsters.
In New Jersey, the percentage was actually a little higher, but the good news is 12 of the 16 in the Garden State are keeping its doors open.
According to the USA Today study, the four Red Lobsters that closed include the Bridgewater, East Brunswick, Ledgewood and Lawrenceville locations.
The good news is Red Lobster will still have locations in Cherry Hill, Delran, Iselin, Mays Landing, Paramus, Secaucus, South Plainfield, Toms River, Union, Vineland, Wayne and Woodbury.
New York still has 14 Red Lobsters, but 11 are closed. Pennsylvania only closed one of its 30 restaurants. Only its Erie location is gone.
According to the USA Today story, the company said it will use the bankruptcy proceedings to "drive operational improvements, simplify the business through a reduction in locations, and pursue a sale of substantially all of its assets."
