  @comcastcares Their customer service agent promised me an $80 credit on my account and it never appeared. I said when you call Comcast, the message says we may record the call for training purposes. Just check my call log. How convenient they never logged my call

I’m well aware that some areas only offer one provider but that’s not the point. Many families have had to sign up for the most basic internet service to ensure their kids can learn remotely.

  Let me get this straight @Xfinity and @comcast. My 4 kids are forced to school from home, I’m forced to work from home, there is no socializing outside the home due to Covid so NOW you restrict our download amount. Or we pay MORE?? Never let a good crisis go to waste they say.

  If I hadn't been working from home since March, I would never know how frequently my $90/month @Xfinity internet goes out. So glad I pay for a service that regularly doesn't work and doesn't communicate or compensate for their consistent outages.

  @CaseyNewton @ChanceKelch Comcast does sell an option for their business customers - so best to ask. Ask them also to provision the modem again, sometimes it helps. Failover is good for when the line goes down hard, when it ping pongs it can be a nuisance as well.
