I know I see a lot of blog post out there of "Yay! We finally cleared X!" or "We have Y on farm now and I got my new shiny Z!" But I have to say none of that really matters to me.
What matters to me are the people.
I love my little raid group Canadacoil. Yes, they even have a name! They may not have cleared all content and sometimes find the 100 ways that do NOT work but they never quit. I have not heard them once yell at each other, point fingers, or start drama. They are good friends, they pull together and use each other strength and weakness to find THEIR own way...so I know that when they finally do clear X mob, yeah, that is going to be one AWESOME feeling!
And I hope I'm there to celebrate it with them, even if I'm on the sidelines for that attempt.
I know I'm the newbie in the group and I don't have 5-10 years of playing together like they do but I love watching them dance. It's tight knit but FLOWS and their communication is simply amazing and reflects their level of comfort and ease with each other.
I was the kid with her face pressed against the window looking in on their fun with wide eyes in wonder and innocent desire. Afraid to get closer for not wanting to mess up their flow of play but finding my feet mimicking their moves while I stared and completely unable to pull away from it all, even when they would come take me by the hand and lead me inside to join them.
I still stand in the doorway and observe, having gained enough courage to at least be inside now, but my heart still flutters like a wallflower being asked to dance at the Homecoming every time they take me by the hand to come play with them. Who knows, maybe I have found where I belong and someday I will be apart of that flow while someone else looks in with wonder and envy.
Hope, such a fickle thing.

That is one of the best things about raiding with people. Seeing that dance and then becoming part of that dance.

He tells me to pull everything for two reasons, to dps them quick and to try and kill me.
Me, Anty, and Raven actually 3 man Titan EX for Anty's WT. Me n Anty were dps, while Raven was healer. I also got Brock into a raid group which was my spot, but I couldn't make it so I asked him and now he's cleared A9S n A10s, in a total of two days. Really glad I was useful
You have such a wonderful way with words. I love reading your posts. I feel you on this one because my fc is real life family owned and operated. We occasionally take on new characters to help but it's mostly just the 7 if us. I not only like the prole I play with but I love them! They make the game.
